Bubbas Bar Grille in Newbury

Party of four was seated quickly even though the place is very busy. A waitress took her orders probably our food was delivered quickly and was excellent. The value for the food was good. My family and I are looking forward to eating there again.

Ordered takeout. Food took much longer than they told us it would. Covid safety/precautions were minimal at best - staff had masks but were frequently taking them off. Napkins, plates, forks etc were not included in the takeout bag. Staff was disorganized. Food was fine but I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Order was right, kids were happy, wife didn’t complain. Home run.

Delicious food. Onion rings are dynamite.. Unfortunately I had to do take out because of Covid-19. I will go back when able to eat in and enjoy the view of the water.

Got pizza loved it They sat me at a window Seat What a view In the staff is very friendly and make you feel like you're at home I will definitely be visiting this place again

It is one of the most friendly establishments that I have experienced. The bartenders and servers easily become friends. The menu choices are amazing, creative, and very delicious! It's a Yes for me!

Great food and a very upbeat atmosphere. Wait staff is enjoyable and made our saturday night dinner with friends memorable. The steak order was a little bit late coming out, so timing could be improved.

Good food. Some of the best around. Pizzas are a good deal and they have happy hour too. Happy with the service so far.

Bubba's Bar & Grill has to be one of our favorite go to restaurant's to get a delicious meal & has the best views of Lake Sunapee.

I have to start out by saying the only thing I regret about our experience here .. Not asking for our writer's name ! He gave us absolutely great service , with a super friendly and outgoing manner which was incredibly refreshing after all that's going on in the world . We arrived around 4:30 and the place was pretty empty which was also incredibly nice ! The food came out in a timely manner , cooked & dressed accordingly and tasted somehow even better than it looked ! 😍🤤 Will absolutely be returning and 100% recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal !

Had a burger for lunch. It was great. Service was excellent. I got there at 1130.The place did fill up skiers though... Glad I got there early.

We absolutely love Bubba's! Awesome food as well as amazing staff! The view of the lake across the street and to be able to head over to the water and dock with a fabulous ice cream treat right from next door makes it such a great experience! My family loves to head to Bubba's every time the come up to NH for a visit 😁

Consistently great food. Quality, quantity and presentation is always pleasing. Creative specials keep the menu fresh. The service is welcoming and the view of Lake Sunapee is ever changing with the seasons.

I ate outside under the tent in the parking lot. The staff was very friendly and made you feel comfortable even though many people were wearing masks. I had the cesear salad with chicken. It was huge, fresh, and wonderful! The tables were decorated with cute plants in pots and there were several planter filled with flowers to dress up the outdoor seating. It was a great dining experience!

My fiancé and I absolutely loved our most recent night out at Bubba's. I had the Bacon Burger (pictured below) and she had a small pizza. Both the food and the service were phenomenal.

Good food, quick service, comfortable atmosphere

Dinner out the other night was delicious. Placed was packed for a Wednesday night. The server was very attentive. Ending up getting the special after she took the time to find out just exactly it was. She sold the meal. Looking forward to going back soon.

Excellent food and service. We always start our summer with ice cream and watching the lake by the dock.

Great little spot in Newbury. I've only been in 3x now but each time was great. Friendly staff, good seating and one hell of a eggs Benedict. Highly recommend breakfast specials when you can

Beautiful restaurant, beautiful setting on the lake... But wow, their "award winning chowder" was terrible. It was so thick that it was almost gelatinous. When our (very sweet) server set it in front of me, it shook not unlike Jell-O. I had two tiny bites, and had to set it aside. I got it to go--don't know why. I ate a third of the oyster crackers it came with, and that's about it.

Staff is nice. They dont have a problem with ice cream, pizza, hot dogs, ect. But i ordered mac n cheese with lobster and i was VERY disappointed. It cost me $30 to get pasta with cheese sprinkled on it and a couple small pieces of lob. Pasta was hard. Biggest waste of money ive spent in nh this year.

Takeout ordered and took an hour and a half but was told 45. When we got the food, my wife's wedge salad either didn't have dressing at all or it had been sitting so long that the dressing had absorbed into the lettuce, leaving a slimy film. Pizza was decent as was the pulled pork sandwich.

Stopped in for a meal on my way home from upstate Maine. I enjoyed another tasty meal. Pleased with the service. Great burger, cooked the way l requested it. I enjoyed it. Visited the site decades ago when riding snowmobiles, bouncing off the top of the mountain this was a great place to visit for food and drink, also fueled up the sled. Recently looking for a good burger I remembered this place and drove from Ma. The food was delicious as l remembered it to be. Need to watch the time of day since a lot of people were here when I arrived, parking lot was tight, but enough room in side. Guess could park across the street if wanting to. Nice place to eat good food for a reasonable price too, enjoy the staff and a good meal.My rule of thumb is to only eat at a place that has cars or vehicles in the parking lot, the more the better, usually means good foodMr. P. 🎯✔🍔😊

Fried seafood was excellent, but the seafood chowder was weird and gelatinous. Seafood pie tasted like burnt breadcrumbs, and the artichoke dip was tasty but dry.

Good food, fast service. I know I can count on Bubba's EVERY time. This place has great bar food! Their soups are delicious. The pizza is some of the best in the state! So far everything had been delicious!

Such a wonderful place. The friendliness of the staff is just as amazing as the food. The pizzas are fantastic and they have many other great items to choose from as well. The atmosphere is so quintessential new England. Spend some time at the beach and then visit Bubas! They have an outdoor ice cream stand too.

Great location and good eats although a little pricey! Hot buttered lobster roll is a near perfect 10!

Was told there would be a twenty minute wait. When we came back after twenty minutes (they just write your name down on paper, no buzzers so you won't know when they're ready for you) they told us it would be another twenty minute wait. We ended up waiting a total of an hour to be seated and then another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Food was adequate, but not amazing. Very noisy inside with music playing on top of the chaos. Not worth the wait.

I brought my mother here for Mother's Day and chose the perfect time to go as it wasn't busy at all! Elizabeth S was our server and she was awesome! Despite having one heck of a morning rush. The food was delicious as were the drinks! The menu is fairly expensive, but for the location, view and amount of food you get it's all worth it!
